Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong quantitative, mathematical, and programming skills who are eager to apply their knowledge in real-world financial markets. The Junior Quantitative Analyst will support model development, data analysis, research initiatives, and performance evaluation of trading and risk strategies.Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. This position offers a hybrid work structure, combining remote flexibility with collaborative in-office engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing, testing, and validating quantitative models for trading and risk managementAnalyze large financial datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunitiesSupport backtesting of trading strategies and performance evaluationConduct statistical analysis using Python, R, or similar toolsCollaborate with senior analysts, traders, and risk teamsPrepare reports and visualizations for internal stakeholdersMaintain documentation for models and analytical processesMonitor model performance and recommend improvements
Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative fieldStrong understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and financial mathematicsProficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or similar programming languagesExperience with SQL and data analysis toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and portfolio theoryFamiliarity with machine learning techniquesExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
