Short-Form Content Researcher & Script Writer (Performance-Focused | Real Estate Niche)

We are building a performance-driven short-form content system for real estate agents and are looking for a skilled Short-Form Content Researcher & Script Writer to join us on a part-time contract basis. This is NOT a generic social media writing role. We are looking for someone who understands: • Hooks that stop the scroll • Retention structure • Short-form psychology • Pattern interrupts • Angle differentiation Our brand is built around “proven scripts” — meaning scripts that are strategically structured for performance, not generic advice content. What You’ll Be Doing Each month, you will: • Create 15 core short-form script concepts • Write 4 variations of each script (targeting different audience angles) • Follow our structured script template (framework provided) • Research trends, positioning angles, and topic relevance • Deliver finalized scripts inside our formatting guidelines You will NOT: • Manage backend systems • Handle posting or editing • Communicate with clients Your role is focused strictly on research and writing within our framework. Hours & Structure • 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off structure • 10–15 hours per week during active weeks • Approximately 20–30 hours per month total • Ongoing contract (start date TBD) • Flexible work hours during active weeks • Deliverables-based expectations The two “active” weeks each month will be dedicated to research and script creation. The following two weeks will be off, allowing for clear production cycles and focused execution. We are currently building a shortlist of candidates and will begin with a small paid test assignment before moving into a recurring monthly role. Ideal Candidate You are: • Obsessed with short-form content • Analytical about why videos perform • Comfortable writing tight, concise scripts • Able to differentiate angles clearly • Structured and deadline-oriented Bonus points if you: • Have written for real estate or local service businesses • Have experience growing short-form accounts • Can provide examples of high-performing scripts To Apply Please include: 2–3 examples of short-form scripts you’ve written A short explanation of what makes a strong hook Your hourly rate Why you think most short-form scripts fail We will begin with a small paid test assignment before moving into a recurring monthly role.
