Join our team and discover your place in the innovation of #Teamarenaflex. **Job Summary** As a member of our product design or delivery and integration team, reporting to a Designing Chief, you'll be responsible for: * **Programming Development**: Developing, testing, and refining software applications using cutting-edge technologies and programming languages. * **Code Reviews and Testing**: Participating in code reviews and automated testing to ensure high-quality code and identify areas for improvement. * **Troubleshooting and Debugging**: Troubleshooting essential software components and identifying code gaps for remediation. * **Automation and Scaling**: Automating processes in test or production environments and scaling applications based on projected demand. * **Leadership and Collaboration**: Leading a small team of developers and collaborating with colleagues to drive innovation and improvement. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, test, and refine software applications using cutting-edge technologies and programming languages. * Participate in code reviews and automated testing to ensure high-quality code and identify areas for improvement. * Troubleshoot essential software components and identify code gaps for remediation. * Automate processes in test or production environments and scale applications based on projected demand. * Lead a small team of developers and collaborate with colleagues to drive innovation and improvement. * Participate in client story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing, and build automation tools. * Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and champion a culture of continuous improvement. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. * 3+ years of experience in software development and leading teams of developers and scrum teams. * 3+ years of active experience working with Hadoop, Hive, Flume (core, SQL, and PySpark). * Strong data warehousing concepts. * Knowledge of financial reporting environments is an asset. * Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is an asset. * Experience with cloud platforms like GCP/AWS, building microservices, and agile development methodologies is a plus. * Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and using CI/CD pipelines is a plus. * Experience with NoSQL databases like HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB is a plus. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Kafka streams or queues is a plus. * Experience with UNIX shell scripting is a plus. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Phenomenal project management skills. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary of $28/hour. * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and programming languages. * Collaborative and inclusive work environment. * Continuous learning and development opportunities. * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced software engineer looking to join a dynamic team and shape the future of innovation, apply now! arenaflex is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
