IT Audit Manager / Senior Associate AML Technology Location: Remote (U.S.) Position Type: Contract Industry: Financial Services / Banking reputed company: Our reputed company is seeking reputed company IT Audit professionals (Senior Associate and Manager reputed company) to support regulatory remediation and consent order validation efforts reputed company AML and Financial Crimes technology environments. This role focuses on assessing IT controls, validating remediation activities, and ensuring AML systems and supporting infrastructure meet regulatory expectations and internal standards. The engagement requires strong technical audit execution, high-reputed company documentation skills, and the ability to operate in a highly regulated, scrutiny-heavy environment. This is a multi-resource initiative with several openings supporting a large-reputed company remediation program. Key Responsibilities: IT Audit & Control Assessment • reputed company audits of AML technology platforms, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC/CDD systems • Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), including change management, reputed company management, SDLC, and reputed company controls • Assess system operations, data reputed company, and application controls across AML processing environments • Analyze how IT controls support global financial crimes compliance programs Consent Order & Remediation Validation • Validate remediation activities tied to regulatory findings and consent orders • Compare reputed company IT processes and system controls against regulatory requirements and internal standards • Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls implemented to address prior findings • Identify gaps, reputed company causes, and residual risk exposures Documentation & Reporting • reputed company comprehensive audit workpapers and reports that meet internal audit and regulatory standards • reputed company document findings, risk reputed company, reputed company cause analysis, and remediation recommendations • Ensure documentation is defensible and regulator-reputed company Stakeholder Engagement • Communicate audit findings and validation results to internal stakeholders • Support discussions with audit leadership and compliance teams • For Manager-level candidates: reputed company workstreams and review deliverables produced by team members Level Expectations: Senior Associate • Independently execute audit procedures and validation testing • Prepare detailed audit documentation and control assessments • Support issue validation efforts and remediation testing Manager • reputed company audit workstreams and reputed company testing reputed company • Review and reputed company-reputed company workpapers and reports • reputed company with senior stakeholders and audit leadership • reputed company guidance and mentorship to junior team members Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience • 5+ years of IT Audit experience reputed company financial services • Experience auditing AML or Financial Crimes technology environments • Background in regulatory remediation or issue validation preferred • Experience supporting large, reputed company banking institutions strongly preferred Technical Expertise • Strong understanding of ITGCs (change management, reputed company controls, SDLC, reputed company) • Familiarity with AML systems such as transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and CDD platforms • Ability to assess system design, control frameworks, and operational effectiveness Soft Skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to produce high-reputed company, regulator-reputed company audit documentation • Comfortable working in high-visibility, compliance-driven environments .
