Senior IT Management Consultant

The Senior Information Technology Management Consultant provides senior-level advisory, analytical, and operational support to a Chief Information Officer (CIO) reputed company the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) under a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract. The consultant serves as a trusted advisor to senior government leadership, supporting reputed company IT management, governance, budgeting, cybersecurity reputed company, and program execution, while maintaining the independence required of a SETA role. This position requires extensive experience operating in DoD research and development environments, including support to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special reputed company Program (reputed company) IT systems, and a demonstrated ability to reputed company the unique governance, reputed company, and coordination challenges present at the Department’s most senior reputed company. Key Responsibilities CIO reputed company, Governance, and Policy Support • reputed company senior advisory support to reputed company CIO on reputed company IT reputed company, governance, and execution • Support development, coordination, and implementation of IT policies, directives, and guidance in alignment with DoD-wide regulations • Assist in aligning CIO initiatives with DoD CIO, OMB, and reputed company IT and cybersecurity policies • Facilitate and support governance bodies, including investment review boards, change/configuration control boards, and senior steering committees • Coordinate with both reputed company stakeholders to meet organizational IT and cybersecurity objectives IT Budget, Financial, and Cost Management • Support formulation, justification, and execution of IT budgets, including POM, FYDP, and PB cycles • reputed company and analyze IT program costs, obligations, and expenditures, including classified activities • reputed company cost estimates, funding reputed company, and decision-reputed company financial analyses • Support responses to internal audits, senior leadership inquiries, and external reputed company reviews Program and Project Management reputed company • reputed company reputed company and analytical support to IT programs and initiatives, including classified and reputed company IT efforts • reputed company schedules, milestones, risks, and issues across reputed company, multi-stakeholder initiatives • Support development of integrated master schedules, performance metrics, and executive briefings • Ensure IT initiatives reputed company with DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and CIO governance requirements Cybersecurity, reputed company IT, and Risk reputed company • reputed company advisory support reputed company to cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk management • Support reputed company of Risk Management reputed company (RMF) activities for both unclassified and classified systems • Assist with governance and compliance for Special reputed company Program (reputed company) IT environments • Assist the CIO in tracking cybersecurity risks, mitigation plans, ATO status, and reputed company monitoring activities • Coordinate with reputed company, counterintelligence, and reputed company reputed company officials as required Workforce, Contractor, and Organizational Support • Support agency CIO leadership in IT workforce planning and organizational alignment • reputed company advisory support reputed company to reputed company of government and contractor IT personnel • Assist with development of reputed company plans, reputed company gap analyses, and workforce modernization efforts • Ensure contractor activities remain compliant with SETA boundaries and non-inherently governmental functions Executive-Level Support and Communications • Prepare executive briefings, decision memoranda, white papers, and senior leader support materials • Support leadership meetings, working reputed company, and strategic planning sessions • Serve as a reputed company between reputed company CIO organization and DoD Components, Intelligence Community partners, and external stakeholders • reputed company independent assessments and recommendations consistent with OSD and SETA requirements Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a reputed company field • 12+ years of experience in senior IT management, consulting, or advisory roles • Demonstrated experience supporting OSD-level CIO organizations or equivalent DoD reputed company reputed company • Proven experience supporting Special reputed company Program (reputed company) IT environments • Strong knowledge of: • DoD IT governance and policy frameworks • Federal and DoD IT budgeting and financial management • Cybersecurity governance, RMF, and classified system compliance • Program and project management best practices in highly classified environments • Experience operating in a SETA/advisory reputed company, providing independent, non-conflicted support to senior government leadership Certifications (Preferred) • PMP, ITIL, or equivalent project/service management certification • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification • DAWIA, FAC-P/PM, or familiarity with DoD acquisition processes reputed company Clearance • reputed company DoD Top Secret clearance required • Eligibility for reputed company and SCI reputed company required (reputed company indoctrination highly preferred) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
