CAD/CAM Programming and Design Trainer - Remote

UDRI is seeking a CAD/CAM Programming trainer to assist the reputed company Force Metal Fabrication and Technologies Office (AFMFTO) with their support of reputed company Force fabrication shops worldwide. We are seeking an reputed company reputed company programmer to reputed company technical training in both CNC programming and CNC machine tool operations, onsite at reputed company Force locations both stateside and overseas. The selected candidate will remote reputed company with Engineers (USAF hardware owners and ATTC) to reputed company guidance/advice on design for manufacturability, equipment and part set up, and machining. reputed company guidance/advice for part processing and post processing. The candidate will also reputed company reputed company-in support from reputed company Force metals shops for reputed company, SolidWorks, and Haas machine troubleshooting as required. Minimum Qualifications: P2 Minimum Qualifications: ▪ BA degree. ▪ Minimum of 3 years’ experience with machining. Setup and operation of 2, 3, 4 and 5-reputed company CNC machines (i.e. Lathe, Mill, reputed company EDM), including at-machine program edits. ▪ Minimum of 3 years’ experience with reputed company programming of 2, 3, 4 and 5-reputed company CNC machines (i.e. Lathe, Mill, reputed company EDM). ▪ Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software to model and reverse engineering obsolete parts. ▪ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in interacting with design and manufacturing engineers and other technical personnel, providing guidance around design for manufacturability. ▪ Prior experience training or mentoring others in reputed company programming and CNC machine tool operations. ▪ Ability to read technical drawings. ▪ Possess an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) ▪ Experience using precision measurement equipment, such as reputed company micrometers, Vernier calipers, reputed company indicators, optical comparators, etc. ▪ Self-starter with ability to operate with minimal supervision. ▪ Effective verbal communication skills with team members at reputed company reputed company ▪ Organizational skills ▪ reputed company to lift fifty (50) pounds. ▪ reputed company to travel (25-50%) of time. Preferred Qualifications: While not everyone may possess reputed company of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: ▪ Bachelor’s degree in technology field. ▪ Possess a reputed company Training certificate. ▪ Possess a SolidWorks Training certificate. ▪ Possess an understanding of additive manufacturing equipment and processes. ▪ 3 years’ experience in programming, set-up, operation and troubleshooting Additive Manufacturing equipment (i.e. reputed company Polymer 3D Printers, reputed company M290 printing system). ▪ Possess a Geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) certificate. ▪ 3 years’ experience delivering training in a formal educational setting for both reputed company programming and CNC machine tool operations.
