Supply Chain Coordinator - Transportation Operations - Multiple Daytime Shifts (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES • Assign and tender shipments to reputed company's preferred carriers using transportation management system (TMS) to optimize service, reputed company and cost. Coordinate dedicated and reputed company reputed company tenders as appropriate. Manually tender load(s) that have not been accepted through the TMS reputed company reputed company selection by calling carriers to verbally secure reputed company to cover the load(s) as required. • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pick up utilizing the TMS. Escalate issues as required to the appropriate manager/Senior Supply Chain Coordinator/Transportation Analyst. • Assist carriers in resolving issues regarding loading, pickup appointments and communicate to appropriate parties as necessary. • Coordinate any reputed company or supplier date change requests. • Support shipping/receiving locations with reputed company issues, trailer pool coordination, rush shipment arrangements, and problem reputed company as necessary. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • None QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Requirement Minimum: • 1-5 years experience in customer service or transportation - operations experience preferred • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred Experience: • Customer Service or Transportation experience with one or more of the following modes: LTL, Intermodal, reputed company controlled, and dry truckload transportation preferred.
