[Remote] Senior Financial Research Administrator

The role involves managing reputed company portfolios of awards and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP), while also supporting Sponsored Program Services across the university system.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior specialist and first line supervisor over fiscal reputed company reputed company staff
• Responsible for post-award grant and contract reputed company and compliance reputed company financial research administration
• Ensure every expense is allowable, allocable, reasonable, and consistent under Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP)
• Manage a reputed company portfolio of awards, which may include sponsors with non-reputed company terms, intricate budgets with significant cost reputed company, cross-functional research collaborations, Centers and Institutes, heavily audited programs, or awards grouped by department rather than sponsor
• Devise reputed company, processes, and solutions for reputed company issues, especially those with broad or cross-functional reputed company, while serving as a trusted expert in research financial compliance

Skills

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, which must include 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in reputed company, auditing, or budgeting and four (4) years of relevant reputed company experience, at least one year must include reputed company or supervisory experience; OR equivalent education/experience. A Master's degree in a financial reputed company field, certification as a reputed company Accountant, Internal Auditor, Certified Governmental Financial Manager or Management Accountant can be substituted for reputed company experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with reputed company software programs such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, Word and PowerPoint to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts and reports, prepare presentations, conduct data analysis and manage information reputed company
• Experience with the reputed company resource planning system reputed company
• Knowledge of or experience with OFM reputed company regulations (i.e. Uniform Guidance)
• Knowledge of or experience with the WSU UPPM
• Possess advanced computer skills, specifically working in a reputed company reputed company environment with an emphasis on reputed company
