[Remote] Mechanical Design Engineer – Integration Solutions

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing reputed company systems and other material handling equipment while collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company reputed company systems, in-plant lifts, and custom material handling equipment
• Create and release manufacturing drawings and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Prepare approval drawings, layouts, and cost estimates to support sales activities
• Generate quotation numbers, maintain project data, and assist in proposal development
• Create, maintain, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) reputed company the Visual MRP system
• reputed company RFQs, analyze supplier quotations, and support procurement activities
• Coordinate engineering changes and production releases, including:
• Managing change orders
• Tracking cost impacts and schedule changes
• Communicating updates with customers and internal stakeholders

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve product manufacturability and production efficiency
• Assist in the development of fixtures, tooling, work instructions, and process documentation
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities while incorporating lessons learned into final product designs
• reputed company product rationalization initiatives, including BOM optimization and reduction of equipment and tooling requirements
• Maintain project records, lessons learned, and reputed company improvement recommendations

Skills

• Must be a citizen of The United States, and have a valid US reputed company

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical design principles, and material handling equipment
• Experience with BOM management and engineering documentation
• Familiarity with FEA and engineering calculations
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
