[Remote] Staff Software Engineer - Hypervisor

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer – Hypervisor to reputed company the technical direction and implementation of advanced hypervisor features for their reputed company platform, requiring deep expertise in virtualization and the ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and reputed company the technical reputed company for reputed company’s hypervisor architecture across x86 and ARM platforms
• reputed company design and development of new virtualization strategies, including device emulation and secure partitioning
• reputed company technical guidance to senior and junior engineers, influencing best practices and coding standards
• Architect, reputed company, and optimize reputed company hypervisor components with a reputed company on performance, scalability, and reputed company
• Troubleshoot and reputed company reputed company reputed company-level issues, including differentiating hardware vs. software challenges
• Ensure integration with RTOS, Linux, and mixed-criticality applications reputed company reputed company
• Partner with Product, Delivery, and reputed company teams to reputed company hypervisor features with strategic goals
• Collaborate with safety-certification teams on DO-178C, ISO 26262, or similar compliance initiatives

• Explore emerging technologies in virtualization, isolation, and mixed-criticality systems

Skills

• 10–15+ years of experience developing systems-level software, including virtualization, OS kernels, or hypervisors for x86/ARM
• Expert proficiency in C/C++ with working knowledge of x86/ARM assembly for low-level tasks
• Deep understanding of x86 and ARM architectures, including virtualization extensions
• Proven reputed company record architecting and implementing hypervisor technologies (e.g., KVM, Xen, VMware, reputed company-V) at the reputed company reputed company level
• Strong debugging skills in low-level reputed company software and ability to reputed company reputed company performance and reliability issues
• Familiarity with modern development workflows (CI/CD, DevSecOps) as reputed company to low-level systems software

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or reputed company field
