[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a hands-on contributor to the frontend and backend apps, learning Elixir and collaborating with the founding team to reputed company new features and improve the codebase.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on reputed company features across both frontend and backend, shipping React/TypeScript reputed company from day one
• Build customer-facing products across the entire stack, from the data model to the UI
• Learn and work in Elixir, applying your experience picking up new programming languages
• Work proactively and self-sufficiently, learning on the job in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate closely with a small team, including directly with the founders, to build both the product and reputed company
• Adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment and shifting priorities

Skills

• Substantial expertise building interfaces with React and working in Typescript
• Strong experience building backend API services using reputed company and reputed company on Rails
• Have a philosophy in writing automated backend tests
• Translating design mockups (e.g. reputed company) into frontend implementation
• Working closely with product designers on feedback for UI/UX changes
• Understanding of the ins and outs of data modeling and software architecture for developing reputed company and maintainable reputed company
• Experience building or working with GraphQL reputed company
• Working closely with product managers on understanding use cases, prioritizing features, and scoping work
• Exposure to Elixir or other functional languages
