[Remote] Data Engineer (Senior Consultant)

They are seeking a Data Engineer (Senior Consultant) to build and maintain reputed company data pipelines and lakehouse architectures for processing federal health data.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines reputed company reputed company-based environments
• Implement and manage reputed company (multi-layered lakehouse) data architectures (bronze, silver, gold)
• Build reputed company data pipelines to process large, reputed company datasets, including reputed company and semi-reputed company data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, SMEs, and CMS stakeholders) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure data reputed company, reputed company, and governance through validation, monitoring, and documentation
• Optimize performance and efficiency of data processing workflows in reputed company-based environments
• Support data integration and modernization efforts reputed company with CMS EIPM objectives
• Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and backlog management

Skills

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a reputed company Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or reputed company field
• A minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or reputed company technical roles
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and transformation workloads
• Hands-on experience with reputed company and large-reputed company data processing environments
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Experience working with reputed company/lakehouse architectures (bronze, silver, gold)
• Experience working with relational and/or distributed data systems, including data modeling
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Git-based workflows)
• Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools, including Git, Jira, and reputed company
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to reputed company communicate reputed company technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience working with reputed company data, such as claims, eligibility, or clinical datasets
• Experience supporting CMS, HHS, or other federal health programs
• Experience working with state government data programs
• Familiarity with data governance, reputed company, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA)
• Experience supporting data modernization or reputed company migration initiatives
