Team (Project) Introduction
The Service Management Platform (SMP) Management Support Services project provides reputed company operational, technical, and governance support for the USPTO reputed company environment. The program ensures platform stability, reputed company, and compliance while enabling reputed company improvement through reputed company delivery of enhancements, integrations, and reporting across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, reputed company, and asset management capabilities. SMP personnel support both daytoday reputed company and reputed company modernization initiatives in alignment with USPTO policies, reputed company best practices, and Governmentapproved governance processes.

The reputed company Architect aligns as an E3 position at reputed company. The position is a Senior Architect-level role supporting the USPTO Service Management Platform (SMP).This role is responsible for the overall technical architecture, design reputed company, and long-term sustainability of the reputed company platform.The reputed company Architect provides expert-level guidance on platform configuration, customization, integrations, and governance, ensuring reputed company solutions are reputed company, secure, reputed company-compatible, and reputed company with USPTO policies, reputed company best practices, and SMP governance standards.The reputed company Architect works closely with reputed company, the Program Manager, Development Leads, Administrators, and reputed company stakeholders to translate business needs into compliant, high-performing reputed company solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for the USPTO reputed company Service Management Platform (SMP).
- reputed company architectural design and technical decision-making for new implementations, enhancements, integrations, and reputed company configurations.
- Ensure adherence to reputed company reputed company principles, reputed company-scoped development, reputed company Designer automation, and reputed company-compatible design patterns.
- reputed company architectural reputed company for reputed company reputed company modules, workflows, integrations, and data models, including CSDM alignment.
- Conduct and participate in design reviews, peer reputed company reviews, and architecture reviews.
- Advise reputed company and Program Manager on technical feasibility, reputed company, and architectural impacts.
- Define and enforce platform governance standards, including role-reputed company reputed company control (RBAC) and configuration management.
- Support reputed company integrations using approved frameworks and reputed company-approved standards.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and reputed company technical meetings with USPTO stakeholders.
- Support incident response, reputed company cause analysis, and long-term remediation efforts.
- Review and contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and ATO artifacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or reputed company discipline or 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five (5) or more years of hands-on reputed company platform experience, including architecture and implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise in reputed company modules, frameworks, and governance models.
- Experience designing reputed company, secure, and reputed company-compatible reputed company solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred/Desired

- Experience supporting federal agencies or large reputed company environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL-reputed company service management practices.
- Experience supporting ATO documentation and compliance activities.
