[Remote] Platform Engineer - Clearance Required

The role involves engaging in the entire service lifecycle, supporting system design, and maintaining services to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement using an agile methodology
• Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, reputed company planning, and launch reviews

• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health

Skills

• Minimum of a Secret clearance required
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field
• 7-10 years' experience as a DevSecOps Engineer
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience programming in Python. Ability to debug, optimize reputed company, and automate routine tasks
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a reputed company of drive
• Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
• Demonstrated experience building reputed company, automated build and reputed company pipelines
• Demonstrated experience in conditional procedure of build and reputed company pipeline based on reputed company scans of reputed company and artifact
• Capable of working with software development team and platform infrastructure team to reputed company meaningful guidance to both for reputed company development and deployment
• In-depth knowledge of version control of release artifacts to facilitate reputed company rollout and rollback
• Strong understanding of containerization of web applications
• Understanding and familiarity with container orchestration engines such as K8s (EKS, AKS, GKE, Kops, OpenShift)
• Experience with reputed company CI/CD
• Experience with bash reputed company scripting

• Familiarity with DoD IT standards and federal reputed company standards strongly desired
