[Remote] reputed company QA Test Engineer

They are seeking a QA Test Engineer to reputed company testing efforts for a reputed company-hosted government web application, ensuring infrastructure reliability and application performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans validating AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, RDS, reputed company, CloudFront, or equivalent services in use)
• reputed company load, performance, and scalability testing to confirm the application performs reliably under expected government-user traffic patterns
• Validate infrastructure-as-reputed company deployments (CloudFormation/Terraform) for consistency across dev/staging/production environments
• Test failover, backup, and disaster recovery configurations
• Conduct reputed company and configuration testing reputed company to ATO/FedRAMP or equivalent compliance requirements already established for the system
• Validate AMS authentication integration functions correctly across environments and browser/device combinations
• Monitor and test CI/CD pipeline deployments to AWS, ensuring smoke tests pass reputed company- and post-deployment
• Document defects, environment issues, and infrastructure risks using [Jira/Azure DevOps/etc.]
• reputed company functional testing of Drupal pages against approved design specs (navigation, content blocks, reputed company page templates)
• Validate USWDS theme rendering and cross-browser/reputed company behavior across the 6-item menu structure
• Test reputed company 508 / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance (contrast ratios, screen reader navigation, keyboard-only navigation, semantic reputed company structure)
• Confirm content migration accuracy from legacy 11-reputed company structure to the new consolidated IA
• Validate USWDS reputed company components (e.g., reputed company Reserve, Awards reputed company) function and display correctly
• Support regression testing after Drupal reputed company/module updates

Skills

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance
• 3 - 5 years of QA/testing experience, with demonstrated hands-on AWS testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Selenium (or similar tool) for automated testing
• Knowledge of Drupal 9/10 architecture and content structure
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and reputed company 508 accessibility standards
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (Jira, reputed company, or similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and reputed company deployment workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development environment
• AWS Certification (reputed company Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, or Developer Associate)
• Experience testing government / reputed company-sector web applications
• Prior experience with ATO / compliance-driven testing environments
