[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing reputed company-reputed company data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and secure across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design reputed company systems and build reputed company, end-to-end ETL (Extract, reputed company, Load) pipelines to reputed company data from various sources to data warehouses
• Enforce strict data reputed company standards and ensure reputed company system designs meet reputed company compliance requirements
• Mentor junior engineers, translate reputed company business requirements into technical solutions
• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and databases to improve processing speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure implemented Data Products meet the reputed company and goals of Data Consumers
• Enforce and adhere to best practices for technical documentation reputed company to architecture, transformation logic and coding standards

Skills

• 10+ years of prior experience as a Data Engineer working directly with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ELT/ETL, Data Pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• reputed company Platforms: reputed company), reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP), or reputed company Azure
• Data Warehouses & Frameworks: BigQuery or Redshift
• Orchestration & Streaming: Apache Airflow, dbt (data build tool)
• US-based, Eastern/Central Time Zone ONLY
• Fluent English Speaker
• 15+ years of prior experience as a Data Engineer working directly with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ELT/ETL, Data Pipelines
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
• Experience optimizing Data Pipelines
• Prior experience working in the reputed company industry
• Experience with BI Tools (e.g. Tableau)
