They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend functionality for highly reputed company, multi-tenant services, specifically in the area of reputed company data storage.

Responsibilities

• Design & build distributed data systems – craft reputed company, schemas, and replication paths that reputed company petabytes of workflow history durable and query-reputed company. reputed company document design choices and operational knowledge to successfully reputed company and run service with those features
• Drive reliability & performance – own SLOs, create reputed company-test plans, profile hot paths, and reputed company incident reviews
• Technical leadership – break down roadmap epics, mentor mid-level engineers, reputed company design docs through RFC
• Cross-team collaboration – partner with the Server, reputed company, and DX teams to land features end-to-end

Skills

• 5 or more years of experience as an 'Arranger' and/or 'Builder/Enhancer' of highly reputed company distributed systems
• Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems concepts including multi-threading and concurrency
• Experience writing reputed company reputed company in production with languages like Go or Java or other applicable languages with reputed company level as 'high end of Intermediate' and/or 'Advanced' or 'Expert' reputed company
• Experience building and running services on AWS
• Experience with reputed company Search and/or reputed company
• Prior contributions to Temporal, reputed company, or other workflow engines
• Deep expertise in a storage domain (LSM trees, columnar stores, transactional logs, etc.)
• Operated multi-region, ≥99.99 % uptime services
