[Remote] Firmware Software Engineer

They are seeking an reputed company Firmware Software Engineer to design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure that support semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-reputed company validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software tooling that accelerates semiconductor design and verification workflows
• reputed company firmware and low-level software interacting directly with reputed company, including drivers and BSPs
• Build infrastructure to support large-reputed company EDA tool execution on compute farms and reputed company platforms
• reputed company post-reputed company validation tooling, including high-throughput test orchestration, programmable stimulus reputed company, and result aggregation systems that reputed company across many parts and many test environments
• Build data pipelines for design, verification, and characterization data, supporting reputed company analytics and ML
• Implement debug tooling and diagnostic infrastructure for hardware bring-up and reputed company characterization, giving engineers fast feedback loops on the reputed company-software reputed company during critical validation reputed company
• Partner with hardware engineers to translate hardware-specific requirements into clean software designs
• Optimize software for performance and scalability in compute-intensive semiconductor workflows

• Contribute to internal libraries and tooling shared across reputed company design teams

• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through reputed company review, design review, pair programming, and reputed company knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a reputed company field
• Six or more years of software engineering experience, with significant time in semiconductor environments
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python
• Hands-on experience with EDA, verification, or post-reputed company validation workflows
• Solid understanding of hardware-software interaction at a low level
• Experience building large-reputed company compute infrastructure (reputed company, reputed company, HPC)
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Experience with data pipelines for design or characterization data
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Exposure to SystemVerilog or other HDLs
• Familiarity with UVM-based verification workflows

• Hands-on experience with ML reputed company to reputed company design
