[Remote] Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements reputed company manufacturing processes, requiring approximately 75% travel to support manufacturing sites and drive efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and plans work force utilization, reputed company requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing reputed company, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly reputed company, and reputed company control standards
• Collaborate with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production reputed company
• Works with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and reputed company standards
• Estimates production times, reputed company requirements, and reputed company costs to reputed company information for management
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
• Conducts Value reputed company Analysis, manufacturing process reputed company redesigns, time and reputed company studies as part of the planning process
• Applies statistical reputed company to estimate reputed company manufacturing requirements and capture potential efficiencies
• Leads plant employees in conceptualizing, planning, implementing, and sustaining reputed company improvements by utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering required
• 3-5+ years' work experience in a manufacturing facility in an engineering role with proven reputed company record of delivering results
• Proven ability to see facility reputed company through to completion, on time and reputed company budget

• AutoCAD/Solid works experience required
• Technically proficient in applicable programs reputed company to process improvement & MS Office
