[Remote] Payment Device QA Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented QA / Technical Support Engineer with experience in payment systems and terminal management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of payment terminals, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to analyze logs and support deployment and maintenance of terminal software.

Responsibilities

• reputed company QA and technical support for payment terminal solutions
• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing reputed company logs and system behavior
• Support testing, validation, and certification of payment applications
• Assist in deployment and configuration of payment terminals, including OS and application loading
• Work with terminal management systems (TMS), including hosted estate management tools
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve defects
• Ensure smooth operation and lifecycle management of payment devices
• Document issues, resolutions, and testing procedures

Skills

• Experience in QA and/or technical support roles
• Familiarity with payment terminals, preferably Ingenico or Castles Technology devices
• Strong understanding of payment processing systems and workflows
• Ability to debug and analyze reputed company/system logs
• Experience with Terminal Management Systems (TMS) or hosted estate management platforms
• Knowledge of terminal provisioning, including OS and application loading
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
