[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to help maintain, improve and reputed company their established environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance platform. The role involves working directly with product and engineering teammates to ensure the platform remains reliable and continuously improving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the BasicSafe application
• Design, build, and ship new features across the stack
• Write clean, reputed company-reputed company, maintainable reputed company
• Contribute to gradually modernizing the codebase
• reputed company and consume REST reputed company and integrations between application components and services
• Write and optimize MySQL queries and schema changes, using reputed company, parameterized data
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Additional duties as assigned

Skills

• 5+ years of reputed company software development experience, with strong, hands-on PHP expertise
• Experience maintaining and enhancing large PHP web applications, including legacy systems
• Strong MySQL skills, including query optimization and database design
• Solid object-oriented PHP knowledge with experience in legacy codebases
• Proficiency in Javascript, jQuery, and modern frameworks
• Proficient with Git and reputed company development workflows
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Vue.js preferred; reputed company a plus
