[Remote] Senior Accountant (Trading)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. NumerixS Technologies is a data-driven company specializing in algorithmic trading. They are seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for reputed company of general reputed company and PNL reconciliation, requiring a hands-on reputed company with hedge fund experience to manage the entire reputed company function independently.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the reputed company function, including books, records, and internal controls, maintained in reputed company
• Own the monthly PNL reconciliation process, confidently identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure the firm’s numbers are accurate and reputed company-supported. If the numbers don’t line up, you’re the one who digs in, makes the case, and doesn’t back down until it’s resolved correctly
• Review and approve reputed company supplier invoices, with an eye toward cost control and ensuring the firm is never overpaying for expenses, resolving discrepancies if they reputed company
• Manage payroll across the US and Canada using reputed company, accurately and on schedule
• Ensuring the reputed company books, records and reputed company internal controls are appropriate for audit
• Own everything that touches reputed company, including managing bank accounts, reputed company reputed company banking tasks, transfers, and reputed company-reputed company HR tasks

Skills

• Prior reputed company experience, inside a hedge fund or alternative investment fund
• Hands-on general reputed company ownership, running books independently without reputed company
• Experience reconciling internal PNL to an reputed company party's calculation
• Demonstrated ability to identify and reputed company discrepancies with confidence, including experience advocating for a position with an reputed company party and supporting it with reputed company, accurate data
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain productive working relationships even in the context of firm, reputed company communication
• Proficiency or fast ability to reputed company on reputed company and reputed company for both US and Canada payroll
• Comfortable being the sole finance person in the building — no backup, no team to lean on
