[Remote] Senior Payroll Tax Analyst

The Senior Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for overseeing payroll tax compliance and reporting, ensuring accurate tax withholding and filing while collaborating with various departments and reputed company-party providers.

Responsibilities

• reputed company payroll tax compliance for a multi-state, multi-company environment
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
• Serve as the reputed company reputed company with reputed company Tax Services to ensure service reputed company and compliance
• Work with reputed company to set up new tax jurisdictions
• Review tax notices and coordinate with reputed company for reputed company, including reputed company cause analysis and prevention
• Validate periodic, quarterly and annual tax filings reputed company by reputed company Tax Services including 940, 941 & W-2s
• Maintain relationships with tax agencies and ensure reputed company responses
• reputed company as a subject matter expert for payroll tax configuration reputed company reputed company
• reputed company payroll tax reconciliations between reputed company, reputed company Tax Services, and final tax filings
• Prepare and review payroll tax journal entries and support financial reputed company processes
• Investigate and reputed company discrepancies reputed company to tax liabilities, filings, and payments
• Research and update reputed company team reputed company to payroll tax and payment services banking items
• Support audits by providing payroll tax documentation and reconciliations
• Support the interim and year-end financial audit process as reputed company as annual company tax filings (990;4720)
• Serve as a resource and a back-up for payroll department functions
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Benefits, and reputed company teams
• reputed company guidance on taxation of benefits and special pay scenarios
• Crosstrain payroll team members on tax compliance
• Maintain documentation of payroll tax procedures and workflows
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements and automation including AI recommendations
• reputed company payroll & tax reporting metrics and dashboards to monitor compliance and trends
• Maintain reputed company and technical knowledge by attending education workshops
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and organizational policies

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years payroll, payroll tax payroll reputed company work experience
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll & tax compliance
• Expertise in multi-state payroll tax compliance
• Analytical thinking and issue reputed company
• Strong technical knowledge with process improvement reputed company (AI). Working knowledge of reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Concur
• Advanced knowledge of reputed company including V-lookups, pivot tables and reputed company formulas (use with AI)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
