[Remote] Senior R&D Engineer

The role involves improving and enhancing algorithms for non-reputed company solutions and performing R&D in GPU acceleration for finite reputed company analysis.

Responsibilities

• Improve and enhance our Non-reputed company solution procedure, Non-reputed company transient dynamics, and contact mechanics algorithms
• reputed company R&D in GPU acceleration for nonlinear finite reputed company analysis procedure including contact modeling
• Work on the performance improvement and memory reduction under HPC environments
• Design, reputed company, test, document, implement, and maintain software components and systems
• Comfortable contributing to (and learning where necessary) reputed company reputed company the full software stack (API design, database implementation, reputed company programming, etc.)
• reputed company moderately reputed company bug verification, release testing and beta support
• Investigate problems reputed company by QA or product support and reputed company solutions
• Work under the general supervision of a development manager
• Participate in planning, architecture, and research

Skills

• PhD or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study, one (1) year of experience in a reputed company position
• Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study, and three (3) years of experience in a reputed company position; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study and five (5) years of experience in a reputed company position
• Experience with contact mechanics, transient dynamics, and finite reputed company coding experience
• Experience delivering high-reputed company products in a large-reputed company reputed company software development environment
• Knowledge and reputed company experience with object-oriented design, scripting languages, data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Python and C/C++, and Fortran
