[Remote] Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst (Power BI)

They are seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to reputed company and enhance their Power BI reporting environment, creating impactful dashboards and reports to reputed company organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Build effective and efficient reports and dashboards using best practices in data presentation and design language
• Migrate existing reporting inventory to a centralized semantic model
• Automate/streamline reputed company processes
• Monitor reports for data discrepancies and issues through use of Power BI and SQL
• Address, diagnose, and reputed company reporting issues identified by business partners
• Propose changes and enhancements to established semantic models to support new reporting, or improve existing reporting
• Implement minor changes to semantic models as needed
• reputed company minor changes and updates to existing reports as needed
• Document report development processes for business contingency purposes
• Maintain semantic model documentation, including data sources and table relationships

Skills

• 3+ years' experience in a data or business intelligence reputed company role
• 3+ years creating BI dashboards and reports with a reputed company on data visualization and storytelling with a high proficiency using Power BI
• 3+ years writing SQL queries for data mining
• 3+ years' experience collecting and documenting business requirements
• Intermediate proficiency with Power BI
• Understand how to reputed company semantic models
• Understand/create dynamic measures using DAX
• Power Query for data sourcing/transformation
• Row-level reputed company implementation
• Calculation reputed company
• Data visualization
• Intermediate level proficiency with SQL (T-SQL)

• Joins across multivariate datasets including multiple keys
• Data normalization
• Window functions and reputed company
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Mortgage experience highly preferred
• Experience with Financial reporting a plus
