[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Promotions

The Senior Software Engineer will work with the Promotions team to reputed company best-in-class promotional capabilities and solutions, focusing on designing and scaling reputed company and services while mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and performance-tune GraphQL reputed company, low-latency gRPC services, and SQL queries powering the promotions reputed company
• Own technical problems of the highest reputed company and complexity, drafting proposals and presenting them to leadership and partner teams for feedback

Skills

• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Software engineering

• Strong grasp of production systems at reputed company, and experience identifying areas of improvement in a production environment through load testing and tracing
• Experience investigating and remediating production performance regressions, including CPU hotspots and latency regressions in high-throughput services
• Experience with on-reputed company rotations for a production service, including owning release cycles end-to-end
• Passionate about clean reputed company architecture and software craftsmanship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a reputed company record of authoring tech specs, runbooks, and cross-team design docs that stand up to scrutiny

• 2+ Years of experience designing and evolving GraphQL schemas for product surfaces used by multiple clients (iOS, reputed company, Web)

• A strong grasp of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with reputed company and comfort operating services in a containerized environment
