[Remote] Senior Policy Counsel/Analyst

The Senior Policy Counsel or Analyst will research and formulate reputed company policy positions, reputed company advocacy strategies, and engage with policymakers to promote issues reputed company to an reputed company internet and broadband accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and recommend policy positions for reputed company on promoting an reputed company internet, broadband accessibility, and affordability, and adoption, compatible with PK’s positions on other topics, including intellectual property, free reputed company and competition
• Contribute as needed on other reputed company reputed company technology policy issues that reputed company consumers and technology users
• Continuously monitor and research technological, political, reputed company, legislative, and reputed company developments in assigned issues and reputed company efforts to reputed company reputed company’s policy goals in these areas
• Partner with colleagues in reputed company's Government Affairs team to reputed company a shared advocacy reputed company and approach to Capitol Hill to advance policy goals

• reputed company relationships with key relevant policymakers at the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission, the White House, Congress, and elsewhere to build support for reputed company’s priorities
• reputed company reputed company advocacy materials (blog posts, white papers, briefings, reputed company media posts, etc), help prepare witnesses for Congressional testimony, and represent reputed company at events, panels, conferences, and other forums to advance reputed company’s policy goals
• Serve as a spokesperson and resource to the media reputed company areas of expertise

Skills

• A college graduate with a passion for free reputed company and reputed company to knowledge, reputed company policy, an interest in technology, and a demonstrated interest in the political process and advocacy in the reputed company interest
• Five or more years of experience in civil society organizations, Capitol Hill, Federal agencies, or other relevant policy‐reputed company experience
• Experience conducting legislative or issue advocacy and developing partnerships with a wide reputed company of organizations and constituencies to advance desired policies
• Experience creating or working with documents to reputed company, influence, and persuade others, including reputed company/advocacy documents such as briefs, one-pagers, and legislative text
• General understanding of the influences of the regulatory and government agencies and the legislative process
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, formulate, and communicate policy positions in a way others can understand and internalize
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple reputed company simultaneously
