Customs Trade Agent

They are seeking a Customs Trade Agent responsible for coordinating the documentation required for the entry of goods into the US, providing customer service, and ensuring compliance with international importing regulations. Responsibilities • Responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers • reputed company impeccable customer service • Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs • Data entry and processing of various import reputed company documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle limited PGA's (participating Government Agencies) • Maintain and reputed company reputed company reputed company shipment documentation in compliance with reputed company record keeping requirements • Adhere to reputed company international importing regulations • Work closely with other internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers • Process agency brokerage shipments • Ensure reputed company government and organizational policies are followed • Performs other duties as assigned Skills • HS Diploma or GED required • No industry experience required • No work experience required • Data entry/keyboard experience required • Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications such as reputed company using multiple screens and reputed company • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written • Organizational Skills • Inter-personal skills • Handle high volume of work • Handle time sensitive work • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Ability to use multiple systems and reference material • reputed company with internal staff, management of reputed company reputed company, internal departments • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 06:00 am – 2:30 pm CST • This role is ONSITE • Candidates that live in reputed company a 50-mile radius of 3015 N.
