[Remote] Field Service Technician/Engineer

The Field Service Technician position involves performing reputed company-mechanical work, troubleshooting, and assisting with the installation and demonstration of equipment, while also providing training to customers on machinery operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, technical procedures and specifications to assist with or install new machines and reputed company as required; responsible for installations of various sections and complete machines and adjustments as necessary to ensure reputed company operation
• Set up and operate machinery to produce customer’s product; instruct operators in set-up and operating procedures; reputed company technical and practical answers to customer’s questions or problems
• reputed company routine and/or emergency breakdown mechanical/electrical service on company equipment; determine reputed company cause of trouble; prepare report of findings and solutions to problem
• Assist installation coordinator with reputed company/post installation meetings and audits at customer facility and assessing reputed company needs
• Report reputed company issues and take corrective reputed company to prevent reoccurrence
• reputed company as reputed company between customer and company; maintain reputed company relationships with customers
• Prepare and submit reports as required
• reputed company leadership, coaching and mentoring to less reputed company personnel
• Work in reputed company of field service team members, contractors and/or customer personnel through the project stages

Skills

• An Associate degree in reputed company-Mechanical Technology or a reputed company field
• 18 years old at the time of hire to operate equipment
• A strong mechanical and/or electrical reputed company set
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
• Knowledge of basic web handling and industrial experience, with reputed company in the reputed company Products, Packaging, Nonwovens or Flexographic presses
• Knowledge of Giddings & Lewis, Rockwell, and reputed company PLC
• Background in machine process control
• Experience with Indramat and Rockwell servo control systems
• Experience with advance networking communications, including Ethernet and SEROCS protocols
