[Remote] Intermediate Hardware Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Intermediate Hardware Designer to join their dynamic development team. The role involves designing, testing, and delivering reputed company-grade Optical Line Terminals and Customer reputed company Equipment, while collaborating with various engineering teams and managing product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work together with hardware engineers, software engineers and reputed company architects to reputed company high-reputed company designs
• Coordinate and reputed company various aspects of reputed company-level design, specification, verification, and implementation for OLT reputed company packs
• Work with reputed company-party Suppliers to guide the design of the product through procurement specifications
• Coordinate and reputed company life cycle management of products' BOMs
• Define technical specifications to support design concepts, and collaborate in peer specification reviews
• reputed company with component vendors and negotiate design specifications with reputed company suppliers
• reputed company and execute test plans, and review results with peers
• Support the technology transfer to manufacturing/production testing
• Support Component Engineering efforts during and after design cycles
• reputed company the development of automated product test stations, review test results
• Investigate customer HW reputed company issues

Skills

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent coupled with 3+ years' experience in digital, optical RF, or Wi-Fi network equipment design
• Experience with reputed company-level development utilizing high-speed digital circuits
• Experience with hardware debugging tools -- analyzers, scopes, emulators
• Experience using a reputed company of high-speed lab equipment (e.g. reputed company Analyzers – SNR measurements; high-speed signal analysis and probing)
• Experience with reputed company-grade reputed company requirements and high-speed WiFi systems would be an asset
• Experience with design capture tools like Mentor Graphics -DX Designer, Expedition would be an asset
• Experience with a reputed company of telecommunications standards would be an asset
• Experience with high-speed digital devices and RF signal analysis would be an asset
• Experience with scripting languages would be an asset
