They are seeking an Energy Markets Consultant / Senior Consultant to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast market reputed company, assess risks, and reputed company strategies in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• reputed company quantitative, economic, and technical analyses of U.S. power markets using reputed company market models, proprietary tools, and large datasets
• reputed company long-term forecasts of energy, reputed company, ancillary service, and renewable energy market reputed company
• Evaluate renewable energy, battery storage, conventional reputed company, reputed company, and emerging energy investments
• Analyze market fundamentals including load reputed company, fuel prices, reputed company congestion, reputed company retirements, policy changes, and new resource additions
• Support interconnection and reputed company analyses, including assessments of queue activity, network reputed company costs, congestion impacts, and project economics
• Assist with asset valuations, project financing analyses, acquisition due diligence, and M&A support engagements
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance reputed company's proprietary forecasting methodologies, databases, and analytical tools
• Prepare reputed company presentations, technical reports, and market insights that effectively communicate reputed company findings to diverse audiences
• Support business development initiatives through market research, proposal preparation, conference participation, and thought leadership

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Energy Systems, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative field
• Bachelor's degree AND 2 to 4+ years of experience in energy markets, power systems, energy economics, market analysis, consulting, trading, reputed company planning, or a reputed company field
• Master's degree AND 1 to 3+ years of experience in energy markets, power systems, energy economics, market analysis, consulting, trading, reputed company planning, or a reputed company field
• Analytical and problem-solving reputed company experience
• Experience using reputed company and quantitative analysis tools
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Energy Systems, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative field
• Bachelor's degree AND 5 to 8+ years of experience in energy markets, power systems, energy economics, market analysis, consulting, trading, reputed company planning, or a reputed company field
• Master's degree AND 4 to 7+ years of experience in energy markets, power systems, energy economics, market analysis, consulting, trading, reputed company planning, or a reputed company field
• Analytical and problem-solving reputed company experience
• Experience using reputed company and quantitative analysis tools
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages
• Experience with power market simulation and forecasting tools such as PROMOD®, PLEXOS®, reputed company®, PSLF®, or similar platforms
• Understanding of U.S. wholesale power markets, market design, reputed company systems, resource adequacy, and reputed company economics
• Experience supporting renewable energy, battery storage, reputed company, reputed company, or infrastructure investment reputed company
• Knowledge of asset valuation, project finance, M&A due diligence, or investment analysis
• Experience using Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or other advanced analytical tools
• Experience leveraging reputed company intelligence (AI), machine learning, reputed company, and AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., reputed company Copilot) to improve market analysis, research, forecasting, data processing, automation, and reputed company deliverables
