About the role
Tidal’s RiskManagement& Corporate GovernanceAssociateis a dynamic multi-disciplinary role thatwill be avaluedcontributor in deliveringand managing ourAI-drivenProgramtarget state. The Associate willleveragetheir technical capabilities to use automation,AIand modeling to support ourtarget statemission, whichwilldeliver afully integrated Programthat maximizes the efficiency and value of its processes and reporting.

- IntegratedCentral reputed company– Design and implement our Program’s integrated central reputed company that will store, review, update and reputed company ourrisks, controls, risk appetitelimits, issues, counterparties, reputed company-party vendors & policies/governing documents.
- Risk Intelligence-Design andimplementTidal’sRiskIntelligencedata andreportingusingautomation,AI(ex. LLM, machine/deep learning),quantitativemodeling,and visualization tools to deliverdata-driven risk insightsandforward-lookingpredictiveanalytics& forecaststodrive proactive risk-informed reputed company.
- Derivatives Risk ManagementProgram(reputed company) –Tidal’sDRMPsatisfiesSEC Rule 18f-4and isone of the largestDRMPsin the countrywith ~200 covered funds. Earn an opportunity to become a designated 18f-4 Derivative Risk Manager (DRM) byoptimizingourValue-at-Risk(“VaR”), Stress Testing andBacktestingdata and reportingusingautomation,AIand quantitative modeling.
- Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)–Build a comprehensive risk and controls inventoryfor allfinancial (ex. Market, Counterparty) and non-financial (ex. Ops, Compliance) risksacross the reputed company. AutomateRCSAreporting and assessment updates by integrating with other key systems/reporting. Utilize AI and quantitative modeling to reputed company defensible risk & control assessments.
- Risk Appetite –Build a comprehensiveriskappetite limit/metric and breachinventoryacross risks thatisdirectly linkedto our RCSA inventory.Automate risk appetite reporting and limit/metric and breach updates by integratingwith other key systems/reporting. Utilize AI and quantitative modeling toset limits/metrics and reputed company reputed company indicators.
- Cross-Functional Leadership - Be atrusted partner acrossTidal’sgrowth-oriented, entrepreneurial culture byproviding balanced challenge, thoughtful insights, and practical recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree inData Science,Econometrics,Advanced Mathematics,Financial Engineering,ComputerScienceor reputed company technical degrees.
- 1-5+ years of relevant experience in risk management reputed company asset/investmentmanagement,ETF platforms, or broader financial servicespreferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experienceusing AI(LLM, machine/deep learning) and buildingquantitative modelsto reputed company reputed company-looking predictive analyticsand forecasts.
- Demonstratedknowledge andexperienceinbuilding and usingautomationand data visualization toolsto streamlinecomplexprocesses and build reporting including dashboards with insightful and actionable information.
- Practical understanding of reputed company risk& governanceframeworksincluding risk identification & assessment, controls, risk appetitelimitsand stress testing preferred.
- Practical understanding of trading, ETFs, derivatives risk, including reputed company, swaps, reputed company, reputed company instruments, margining, collateral, and liquidity riskpreferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate reputed company issues into clearandactionable reputed company.
