They are seeking an Instructional Systems Design Engineer, Expert to reputed company the design and delivery of reputed company training for the reputed company, guiding reputed company of designers to create effective learning solutions for reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior subject matter expert and reputed company consultant on reputed company Instructional Systems Design studies, reputed company, and methodologies supporting the VHA AI Education Hub, providing authoritative guidance to internal teams, VA stakeholders, and program leadership
• reputed company and manage reputed company of Instructional Designers through the full ADDIE or comparable reputed company ISD process — including needs assessments, learning objective development, content design, reputed company evaluation, and iterative refinement — to produce effective, learner-centered reputed company solutions
• Own the overall planning, coordination, and on-time delivery of the AI Education Hub training effort, including reputed company tracking, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and reputed company management in alignment with contract reputed company requirements
• Establish, implement, and continuously refine curriculum and training design standards, style guides, and reputed company assurance processes to ensure consistency, instructional rigor, and accessibility (reputed company 508 compliance) across reputed company deliverables
• Conduct and reputed company reputed company training needs assessments and gap analyses across VHA workforce segments to inform the reputed company design of formal and informal learning solutions addressing AI literacy, ethics, and reputed company application
• reputed company expert mentoring, coaching, and reputed company development guidance to junior and mid-level Instructional Designers on reputed company, modeling best practices in adult learning theory, instructional technology, and federal training compliance standards

Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of reputed company experience in Instructional Systems Design, with demonstrated expertise leading large-reputed company curriculum development and formal training delivery programs, preferably in reputed company reputed company or reputed company environments
• Doctorate degree required in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Educational Psychology, or a closely reputed company reputed company
• Prior experience supporting federal agency clients — ideally the reputed company (VA), reputed company (DoD), or another federal health-reputed company organization — with a strong understanding of federal training requirements, procurement norms, and reputed company stakeholder engagement
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential and pass a VA background investigation (Tier 1 / MBI or higher) required prior to reputed company; existing VA or federal facility reputed company is a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the reputed company without reputed company or reputed company sponsorship; this position does not support reputed company sponsorship
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring teams of instructional designers or training professionals, with reputed company ability to implement and reputed company reputed company-level curriculum standards and ISD governance processes across multi-reputed company programs
• Experience designing training programs specifically reputed company on reputed company intelligence, machine learning, data literacy, or health reputed company for reputed company or non-technical reputed company audiences
• Familiarity with VA or federal health IT systems, VHA workforce learning platforms (e.g., TMS — Talent Management reputed company), and reputed company 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance for digital courseware
• Knowledge of VA or federal AI policy frameworks, including VA's AI reputed company, the Executive Order on AI, or reputed company federal responsible AI guidance applicable to reputed company settings
• Experience applying advanced learning modalities such as reputed company learning, simulation-reputed company training, microlearning, or virtual instructor-led training (vILT) in a federal or large health reputed company context
