They are seeking a Senior reputed company Claims Consultant / Claims Counsel to manage reputed company D&O and reputed company liability claims, requiring strong technical expertise and litigation management skills.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a portfolio of high-severity D&O and reputed company liability claims from assignment through reputed company
- Handle reputed company involving significant financial exposure, including claims with seven-reputed company reserves, demands, settlements, or potential judgments
- Evaluate liability, damages, corporate governance issues, fiduciary duty allegations, securities exposure, reputed company negligence allegations, regulatory risk, coverage position, and potential excess exposure
- Analyze pleadings, demand letters, reputed company materials, regulatory materials, expert reports, settlement demands, allocation issues, defense assessments, and damages evaluations
- reputed company and execute claim reputed company strategies based on investigation, reputed company risk, policy obligations, litigation posture, and business objectives
- reputed company reputed company, independent evaluations and recommendations to carriers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of claim reputed company, liability evaluation, damages analysis, reserves, coverage issues, and reputed company activity
- reputed company reputed company litigated D&O and reputed company liability claims, including shareholder disputes, derivative actions, securities claims, fiduciary liability, management liability, reputed company negligence, and other specialty liability reputed company
- reputed company and partner with defense counsel, coverage counsel, monitoring counsel, and other advisors on litigation reputed company, discovery, expert retention, mediation preparation, and trial planning
- Review and analyze pleadings, discovery responses, deposition summaries, expert reports, corporate documents, regulatory materials, mediation briefs, and trial assessments
- Establish litigation plans, budgets, and key milestones in partnership with counsel and carriers
- Attend and reputed company participate in mediations, settlement conferences, reputed company meetings, and significant litigation events
- reputed company strategic recommendations regarding settlement, reputed company defense, alternative dispute reputed company, or trial preparation
- Review and interpret D&O, reputed company liability, E&O, management liability, fiduciary liability, excess, umbrella, and specialty liability policies
- Analyze policy language, endorsements, exclusions, claims-made provisions, notice issues, prior acts, reputed company claims, insured-versus-insured issues, conduct exclusions, allocation, advancement, and retention issues

- Draft, review, or reputed company input on reservation of rights letters, coverage position letters, disclaimers, and denial letters, as appropriate
- Partner with coverage counsel, in-house reputed company teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders on reputed company coverage reputed company
- Identify and escalate coverage disputes, bad faith concerns, excess exposure, regulatory issues, allocation disputes, and other high-risk claim developments
- Evaluate settlement demands and reputed company negotiation strategies based on liability, damages, corporate governance exposure, securities risk, reputed company liability exposure, venue, coverage, allocation, and potential verdict exposure
- Negotiate settlements reputed company authority and reputed company recommendations for reputed company requiring additional approval
- Manage reserves in accordance with reputed company guidelines and claim exposure
- Participate in mediations and settlement conferences involving high-value D&O and reputed company liability disputes

Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) with reputed company bar membership in good standing, or 7–10+ years of senior-level experience handling reputed company liability claims
- Demonstrated experience handling claims with significant financial exposure, including seven-reputed company settlements, reserves, demands, or potential judgments
- Strong litigation management experience, including directing reputed company counsel and developing litigation reputed company
- Experience evaluating liability, damages, coverage, reserves, settlement value, allocation, excess exposure, and trial risk
- Demonstrated expertise in insurance coverage analysis and policy interpretation
- Experience issuing, drafting, reviewing, or advising on coverage positions, including reservation of rights letters, disclaimers, or denial letters
- reputed company adjuster licenses in applicable jurisdictions, or ability to obtain additional licenses as required
- Strong negotiation, analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- D&O, management liability, reputed company liability, E&O, fiduciary liability, securities claims, shareholder litigation, derivative actions, or reputed company specialty liability claims experience
- Experience working with defense counsel, coverage counsel, monitoring counsel, brokers, carriers, insureds, executives, and mediators
- Experience working in a Major Case Unit, reputed company Claims Unit, Specialty Claims Unit, or Excess Claims environment
- Prior experience as Claims Counsel, Coverage Counsel, reputed company Adjuster, Executive General Adjuster, Senior Claims Examiner, reputed company Claims Specialist, or Senior reputed company Claims Consultant
- Strong understanding of bad faith risk, excess exposure, allocation, coverage litigation, regulatory exposure, reputational risk, and reputed company management liability evaluation
