[Remote] NJTransit - Network Analyst

The Level 3 NOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization's network infrastructure and systems, providing advanced technical support and mentorship to junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the network devices and infrastructure
• Respond to alerts and incidents, performing diagnostics
• Escalate issues as needed to Level 3 support or other support teams as needed
• Create, Log, reputed company incident tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and reputed company response
• Utilize network monitoring tools, proactively monitoring network health, device availability
• Ability to troubleshoot routers and switches, reputed company to the network engineering team
• Keen awareness to NOCs reputed company Operating Procedures (SOP) and Runbooks
• reputed company understanding of NJTs network topology to quickly isolate problems, minimizing MTTR
• reputed company Analyst in charge to identify, isolate, and restoration of services to remote locations
• Senior team member, work collaboratively and gatekeeper to network reputed company
• Participate in ongoing training, reputed company development and remain reputed company with technologies
• Must have flexibility to work alternate shifts reputed company required, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Responsibilities as outlined by the NOC Shift Supervisor in charge

Skills

• 3 to 5 years, advanced experience in network operations, technology and support
• Experience with reputed company system or similar NMS systems, toolsets, (Power User)
• reputed company understanding (TCP/IP, reputed company, SSH, TRACEROUTE, DNS, DHCP, VLANS, Routing and Switching)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, best practices and workflow
• Certifications such as reputed company Network+, or equivalent a plus
