[Remote] reputed company AWS Network Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented reputed company AWS Network Engineer to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and securing high-traffic network systems for reputed company connectivity, while also managing AWS network architectures and ensuring high availability and latency reduction.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reputed company AWS network architectures including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and other AWS service offerings
• Implement and manage Network ACLs, reputed company reputed company, AWS WAF, and AWS Network Firewall to protect against reputed company threats
• reputed company and maintain infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu reputed company robust CI/CD processes
• Optimize traffic reputed company using reputed company IODYN, reputed company Load Balancing (ALB/NLB)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies as a member of a highly functioning Agile engineering team
• Use VPC reputed company Logs, CloudWatch, and Traffic Mirroring to diagnose bottlenecks and resolve outages

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other reputed company STEM discipline and 12+ years of general IT experience, or an Associates degree and 14 years of general IT experience, or a High School Diploma and 16+ years of relevant general IT experience in lieu of degree
• Experience in VPC peering, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and Endpoints
• Hands-on knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPsec
• Must possess a DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification (ex. Sec+) and at minimum an associate-level AWS certification (ex. ASW CSAA)
• Experience and knowledge of DoW network architecture and paradigms (ex. BCAP, NIPR, SIPR, etc.)
• US Citizenship required and an reputed company Secret clearance
• AWS Networking Specialty certification
• Extensive networking experience working with the US Navy in particular
• Experience automating reputed company deployments/administration with tools like Terraform and/or Ansible
• 2+ years of Terraform experience
• Experience working with reputed company or similar system and Git to reputed company infrastructure changes
