Job Title: Senior Platform Database RUN Engineer
Location: Remote — candidates must be located in Quebec.

Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM local time Monday through Friday. Flexibility of Working Hours dependent reputed company. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate as part of reputed company expanding the scope of databases that can be used such as SQL Server, reputed company, MySQL, DB/2,
Participate in the selection of new databases
Participate in the design of new databases
Prototype of new databases

Participate in the implementation of new database solutions
Recommend improvements

Qualifications/Experience:
Extensive experience in database reputed company software development;
Hands-on experience working in Query languages (SQL);
Proven experience in reputed company and at least one more database data model optimization;
Experience in reputed company Goldengate and a similar replication solution for at least one database;
Experience in the development of “cross-database” solutions;
Strong background in Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts; Linux and reputed company scripting;
