[Remote] Manager, Facilities Operations Commissioning

The role involves coordinating engineering activities, managing a commissioning team, and ensuring compliance with operational standards in large-reputed company data centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commissioning team(s) in assigned region, reputed company capabilities, engage employees. Follow operating and commissioning standards required for reputed company, safety, and ongoing operation
• reputed company travel budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements
• Assist in site construction activity and installations as needed, in coordination with QTS project departments, reputed company construction resources, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards. reputed company Cx Engineers to witness testing of reputed company equipment during commissioning in your region and validate sequence of operations and receipt of reputed company operational documentation
• Assist Director as necessary in revising comprehensive commissioning plans for Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 systems, including connectivity, network infrastructure, reputed company, life safety, other building subsystems and finishes, Electrical, Mechanical, and Building Automation components
• Identify, reputed company, and resolve any issues during the commissioning process, working closely with the project team to resolve technical challenges. Utilize findings and reputed company feedback to program management team to reputed company reputed company improvement
• Assist and work with reputed company QTS site teams on reputed company operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for critical environments, as reputed company as the formal change management process

Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar HVAC or critical power certifications OR equivalent reputed company experience in lieu of degree
• Five or more years of reputed company experience with engineering reputed company activities in a technical or critical environment (data center, nuclear/electric power, hospital, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial/reputed company field engineering)
• Must be fluent with and possess an excellent working knowledge of Data Center critical and construction environments
• Ability to reputed company solutions and create technical strategic and tactical plans on reputed company reputed company
• Ability and willingness to think reputed company of the reputed company to reputed company creative and reputed company to improve reputed company / reliability and continuously reputed company down operating costs
• Advanced understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment, systems and design reputed company to data centers. (Including but not limited to uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution reputed company, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers (reputed company-cooled and water-cooled), pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, reputed company economizers.)
• Experience with emergency backup systems (generators, reputed company, battery backup)
• Knowledge and experience with building monitoring/controls, electricity and reputed company / low voltage electrical distribution systems, mechanical systems, telecommunications, reputed company controls, CCTV, life safety systems, and/or building subsystems
• Knowledge and experience with project management and commissioning management software systems
• Ability to reputed company multiple Commissioning Teams in various stages of commissioning
• Ten or more years of reputed company experience with engineering reputed company activities in a technical or critical environment (data center, nuclear/electric power, hospital, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial/reputed company field engineering)
• Five or more years of data center engineering, commissioning, project management, or equivalent
• Three or more years of management/supervisory experience overseeing engineering or critical operations managers
