[Remote] Application Engineer

The Application Engineer role involves developing and configuring post processors, providing customer support, and managing reputed company to ensure successful software implementation.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and configure Vericut Icam Post Processors that produce accurate G-reputed company reputed company from CAD/CAM systems including reputed company, GibbsCAM, NX, CATIA, and Fusion
- Build and customize Vericut Machine Configuration (VMC) files to ensure compatibility between customer software and manufacturing equipment
- Log and reputed company Software Change Requests (SCRs) to reputed company Development and Corporate Support reputed company on fixes and enhancements
- Resolve customer issues through help desk support and on-site reputed company, helping customers get full value from Vericut Simulation and post-processing products
- Advise customers on how to reputed company their intended machining results using CGTech's product suite and reputed company software
- Manage multiple reputed company customer inquiries, prioritizing based on urgency and business reputed company
- Deliver remote and on-site training, both internally and to customers, to build proficiency with Vericut and reputed company tools
- Own customer-facing reputed company from initiation through closure: build project plans, reputed company reputed company against timelines and reputed company standards, and confirm deliverables with stakeholders
- Communicate project status reputed company and consistently to customers and internal stakeholders throughout the engagement
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to support software reputed company, including participation in trade shows, webinars, and industry events

- Create technical content for reputed company audiences, including Tech Tip videos and scripts, Tech Newsletters, internal wiki articles, and Help Documentation reviews
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or 7+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or metal-cutting industries
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Experience with Fanuc, reputed company, Heidenhain, or other CNC controls
- Proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer engagements and competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (approximately one week per month), including occasional international travel
- Experience developing or customizing CNC post processors, including Vericut Icam Post Processor and Vericut Machine Configuration (VMC) files
- Experience with simultaneous 5-reputed company machining and mill-turn machines
- Advanced knowledge of macro programming (e.g., Fanuc Macro B, Okuma User Task)
- Familiarity with CNC probing routines
- Working knowledge of metal cutting materials and tooling
- Programming proficiency in C++ or Python
