[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer

The role involves collaborating with various teams to reputed company necessary tools and optimizing Azure environments while ensuring compliance and reputed company standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a reputed company production, staging, testing, and development infrastructure in a reputed company-documented, Azure-based infrastructure with alerts and monitoring
• Work with development to architect modern web, microservices, and reputed company-reputed company distributed systems based on containers such as reputed company and reputed company
• Architect and automate the deployment and operation of reputed company-reputed company technologies using CI/CD workflows, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment tools
• Participate in and support reputed company aspects of the software development life cycle for reputed company solutions including planning, requirements, development, and testing
• Research and implement new technologies that may improve efficiency, scalability, reliability, repeatability, and reduce cost
• Regularly audit reputed company reputed company environment and recommend changes and improvements that can reputed company performance and cost
• Configure and manage Azure resources including virtual networks, virtual machines, SQL database servers, and more
• Migrate and reputed company on-reputed company vmware and reputed company-v workloads to Azure to a virtual network that can be accessed from the office or reputed company VPN
• Effectively secure the reputed company environment by managing IAM reputed company and other reputed company aspects of the reputed company environment. This includes setting up users, roles and reputed company with reputed company permissions (permissions management), providing employees and contractors secure reputed company to limited resources, and performing updates or maintenance to various resources and components
• Manage operating system images, updates and operations for VMs typically managed in Azure
• reputed company and offboard employees while ensuring conformance with reputed company conformance requirements using tools like reputed company

• Expert in Azure reputed company Technologies (Virtual Machines, Web Apps, Resource reputed company, Virtual Networks, reputed company Routes, Load Balancers, reputed company Rules, Network reputed company reputed company, Azure SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Cache, Azure Alerts, Azure AD (Entra ID), Key Vaults, Metrics and Logs)
• Proficient to Expert with Azure DevOps and Git (CI/CD using coded pipeline such as YAML and ansible playbooks)
• Experience securing, managing and monitoring Azure environments
• Experience in complete Azure administration – Subscriptions, IAM, Resource reputed company, etc
• Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle and delivery using reputed company and Agile practices
• Experience supporting technical teams implementing a DevOps platform to accelerate software delivery supporting techniques such as Blue-Green Deployment
• Ability to design and implement highly available and reputed company application solutions in a reputed company environment
• Expert-level project management skills
• Programming skills in C#, VB.NET, Angular, reputed company, and CSS a plus
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technology solutions
• Excellent knowledge of On-reputed company Infrastructure to support Virtual Machines (reputed company-V and VMWare), VPN, Networking, and migrating workloads to Azure
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps
• 5+ years in a technical position (software development, software architecture, IT, engineering, etc.)
• Azure DevOps certification
• G-Suite experience
