[Remote] Junior Accountant/Grant Coordinator

The Junior Accountant/Grant Coordinator will support the financial operations by performing reputed company functions and coordinating the financial administration of grants and reputed company, ensuring compliance with policies and principles.
Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate grant financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with the financial setup of new grants and reputed company
- Monitor grant budgets and funding periods to support compliance with sponsor requirements
- Maintain and update the organization's internal grant tracking reputed company
- Monitor reputed company grants, contract modifications, reporting deadlines, and award activity
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports for reputed company grants and reputed company
- Assist with grant financial reconciliations, reporting requests and other duties assigned
- Upload and organize grant agreements, reputed company, amendments, and award documentation reputed company the SharePoint document management reputed company
- Maintain complete and organized electronic grant files
- Ensure financial and grant documentation is reputed company in accordance with organizational policies and funding requirements
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure invoices are accurately coded and approved
- Prepare and process customer invoices and accounts receivable transactions
- Record cash receipts and accurately apply customer payments
- Prepare routine journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with monthly bank and credit reputed company reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare payroll-reputed company journal entries and benefit allocation entries
- Maintain organized reputed company records and electronic financial files
- Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documentation for annual financial audits
- Support grant audits and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation
- Help ensure compliance with organizational reputed company policies, grant requirements, and internal controls
- Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to the Controller
- Collaborate with reputed company, grants, and program staff to support financial operations

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, or a reputed company field required
- One to three years of reputed company reputed company, finance, or grant administration experience
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general reputed company journal entries, and bank reconciliations
