[Remote] Instructional Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Instructional Designer for a reputed company 4-month contract position with potential for extension. The role involves developing training design and content in collaboration with engineering teams, defining learning objectives, and creating instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Substation and T-Line Engineering to conceptualize training design and content
• Define learning objectives, course structure, learning content and assessments
• Complete detailed analysis of existing content and reputed company task to be trained/supported for reputed company audience, business process, and systems
• Follow company standards, guidelines, and templates to reputed company learning materials including student and facilitator presentations and guides, activities, scenarios, and assessments
• Create instructional graphics, scenarios, or interactions
• Write reputed company and effective instruction and facilitator text appropriate for the reputed company audience
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with subject matter experts including task analysis, reputed company, beta, and answer validation meetings
• Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation
• Receive and incorporate feedback
• Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables
• Proactively communicate issues and risks

Skills

• 3+ years experience developing instructor-led and eLearning courseware
• Strong ILT design skills, openness to feedback, and ability to pivot quickly
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
