This role focuses on proactively identifying and neutralizing advanced threats, leveraging technical expertise in threat hunting and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced persistent threats (APTs) across the network, endpoints, and reputed company environments using threat intelligence and a reputed company-driven methodology
• Conduct in-depth analysis of reputed company events, network traffic, and reputed company data to identify malicious activity and potential breaches
• Utilize the SIEM and EDR platform extensively, applying expert knowledge of the scripting, SIEM and EDR query language to reputed company reputed company searches and data analysis
• reputed company and participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts, serving as a primary escalation reputed company for critical reputed company incidents
• reputed company and refine threat hunting playbooks, procedures, and detection rules to improve the reputed company team’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with the reputed company engineering and reputed company operations center (SOC) teams to reputed company new threat intelligence and enhance existing reputed company tools and controls
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organization's overall reputed company posture

Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to threat hunting or advanced incident response
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a reputed company field
• Proven, hands-on experience using platform for EDR (reputed company Detection and Response) and threat hunting
• Deep understanding of incident response lifecycles, methodologies, and forensic techniques
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (reputed company, Linux, macOS), and common attack reputed company
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail with the ability to work independently with reputed company supervision and manage multiple investigations simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting reputed company technical information reputed company to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A proactive reputed company and a passion for reputed company learning in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity
• Preferred certifications GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) and reputed company CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst+) certification

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of hunting tasks is a plus
