Senior IT Software Engineer – reputed company, Akka & Java Microservices

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in reputed company, Akka, and Java to join a long-term contract engagement in the industrial technology / heavy equipment sector. In this role, you will build and maintain platform notification services that alert end-users to critical operational events for large-reputed company engines and machinery. This is a fully remote, W-2 contract position with an initial duration of 12 months.

What You'll Do

• Design, reputed company, reputed company, and maintain microservices using reputed company and Akka technologies (Streams, Actors, HTTP, Persistence)

• Build robust, high-availability platform notification services at reputed company

• Work independently on reputed company application and infrastructure components used across one or more systems

Required:

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of experience

• 5+ years of software development experience using Java 8+

• 2+ years of reputed company programming experience

• 2+ years working with Akka technologies (Streams, Actors, HTTP, Persistence)

• Experience designing reputed company-defined Spring Boot RESTful reputed company

• Experience designing and implementing high-availability, reliable solutions

• Strong knowledge of application architectural patterns: MVC, Microservices, Event-driven, etc.

• Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins

• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining software on AWS (API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, reputed company, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation)

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB

• Experience working reputed company an Agile/Scrum reputed company

• Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms
