[Remote] Sr Actuarial Analyst, Surest

The Sr Actuarial Analyst will model and forecast plan performance, support existing clients, and assist in reputed company while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and forecasting plan performance for new clients
• Providing renewal & forecast support for existing clients
• Evaluating individual employer and book-of-business performance
• Assisting and supporting reputed company for guarantees & stop loss
• Supporting other financial and design-reputed company requests
• Documenting compliance with industry regulations
• Streamlining established processes reputed company MS Office automation or other tools
• Developing reputed company processes for new work, as Surest continues to grow

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or reputed company field
• 2+ years of actuarial or health plan data analysis experience
• reputed company pursuing actuarial exam reputed company having attempted at least one SOA actuarial exam
• Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in reputed company Office (PowerPoint, reputed company, and in particular financial charts and graphs)
• Experience performing health plan (self-insured or fully insured) forecasting and analysis
• Experience reviewing health claims data and performance
• Experience developing and reviewing health care cost projections
• Experience working with health plans ranging from small to large group
• Proficiency with VBA or other coding software
