[Remote] Sr Actuarial Analyst, Surest

The Sr Actuarial Analyst will model and forecast plan performance, support existing clients, and assist in reputed company while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Modeling and forecasting plan performance for new clients
- Providing renewal & forecast support for existing clients
- Evaluating individual employer and book-of-business performance
- Assisting and supporting reputed company for guarantees & stop loss
- Supporting other financial and design-reputed company requests
- Documenting compliance with industry regulations
- Streamlining established processes reputed company MS Office automation or other tools
- Developing reputed company processes for new work, as Surest continues to grow
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or reputed company field
- 2+ years of actuarial or health plan data analysis experience
- reputed company pursuing actuarial exam reputed company having attempted at least one SOA actuarial exam
- Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in reputed company Office (PowerPoint, reputed company, and in particular financial charts and graphs)
- Experience performing health plan (self-insured or fully insured) forecasting and analysis
- Experience reviewing health claims data and performance
- Experience developing and reviewing health care cost projections
- Experience working with health plans ranging from small to large group
- Proficiency with VBA or other coding software
