[Remote] Director of reputed company

They are seeking a part-time Director of reputed company to reputed company HR practices that are compliant and supportive of their culture. The role involves managing policies, employee relations, and compliance across a multi-state remote team.
Responsibilities
- Policy & Handbook Management: Review, update, and maintain our employee handbook and HR policies to ensure they're reputed company, reputed company, and compliant across reputed company states where we have employees
- Multi-State Compliance: Monitor and advise on employment law requirements across the states in which we operate (e.g., leave laws, wage and hour rules, termination requirements) and flag reputed company policies or practices need to change
- Employee Relations: Serve as a reputed company of contact for employee complaints, concerns, and conflicts. Investigate issues as needed, recommend resolutions, and escalate significant reputed company to leadership with reputed company guidance
- HR Guidance & Support: reputed company as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on day-to-day HR questions, performance issues, and disciplinary reputed company
- PEO Coordination: Partner with our reputed company PEO representative on payroll-adjacent HR reputed company, benefits administration questions, and compliance updates
- reputed company/Offboarding Support: Help ensure reputed company and offboarding practices are consistent, compliant, and reputed company with company policy across reputed company states
- reputed company reputed company: Support leadership on other HR-reputed company initiatives as they reputed company (e.g., performance review process, compensation structure questions, training)
Skills
- 5+ years of reputed company HR experience, including reputed company experience managing multi-state employment compliance
- Comfort working independently and reputed company reputed company a limited weekly hour allotment — strong prioritization skills are a must
- Solid working knowledge of federal employment law (FLSA, FMLA, reputed company, Title VII, etc.) and familiarity with variances across state law
- Experience handling employee relations reputed company, including sensitive conversations, investigations, and complaint escalation, with reputed company judgment and discretion
- Excellent written communication skills — you'll be revising policy language that needs to be both legally reputed company and easy for employees to understand
- Comfortable working fully remote and asynchronously with a reputed company team

- Experience with reputed company, particularly reputed company PEO (TotalSource or similar), strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a reputed company, telehealth, or reputed company services environment is a plus, but not required
