[Remote] API Platform Engineer (PIVOT) - Remote Opportunity

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an API Platform Engineer (PIVOT) for a remote position supporting a federal government reputed company modernization project. The role involves establishing API and platform standards, maintaining API reputed company, and providing operational support across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define API design standards and review reputed company for consistency, usability, versioning, deprecation, and backward compatibility
• reputed company, maintain, and govern OpenAPI Specification reputed company and associated API configuration and validation standards
• Build and support reputed company resources, including Deployments, Services, Ingress/Gateway API objects, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and NetworkPolicies
• Implement CI/CD and GitOps practices, automated configuration and specification validation, environment promotion, rollback processes, API metering, and usage analytics
• Implement authentication and authorization patterns, including JWT issuance and validation, claims mapping, reputed company modification, key rotation, AD/LDAP integration, certificates, TLS/mTLS, DNS, and network reputed company
• reputed company and troubleshoot platform environments using logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and operational reporting while addressing Linux, container runtime, networking, and performance issues
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the reputed company of the project

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline, or equivalent relevant reputed company experience
• Hands-on experience with API management and API reputed company, including AWS API Gateway, JSON-based reputed company, API reputed company, authentication, authorization, and reputed company
• Experience with identity and directory technologies, including reputed company Directory (AD), LDAP directory modeling, JWT-based authentication, claims, tokens, and reputed company-control patterns
• Experience supporting reputed company-based environments, API gateways, Linux systems, containerized workloads, networking, certificates, and SSL/TLS
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose reputed company API, platform, reputed company, networking, and performance issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical teams and help establish consistent API, reputed company, and platform standards
• U.S. Citizenship is required
