[Remote] Graduate Assistant - International Compliance & Finance Reconcil
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support their international compliance and financial reconciliation activities. This position will reputed company practical administrative and research experience to a graduate student knowledgeable in immigration law and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with audits of international student admissions and immigration files
- Review files for required documents, including passports, visas, reputed company records, credential evaluations, English-proficiency evidence, financial documentation, Forms I-20, and other supporting materials
- Help organize and maintain documentation reputed company to F-1, J-1, H-1B, SEVP, and Department of State compliance
- Assist with H-1B petition preparation, document organization, filing checklists, case tracking, and recordkeeping under the supervision of authorized university personnel
- Research federal immigration regulations, policy announcements, and procedural updates affecting international reputed company, scholars, and employees
- Prepare summaries, checklists, draft correspondence, and internal guidance based on assigned research
- Support institutional preparation for compliance reviews, site reputed company, recertification, and internal audits
- Assist with periodic reconciliation of enrollment and reputed company-reputed company reports
- Compare partner reports with university enrollment, billing, scholarship, and payment records and identify possible discrepancies for review
- Support other international operations, special reputed company, and compliance-reputed company assignments as directed
- Attend required Avila residencies, meetings, training sessions, and reputed company activities
- Protect confidential student, employee, financial, and immigration information in accordance with FERPA and university policies
- Performs additional job-reputed company duties and responsibilities as requested
Skills
- Admitted to and enrolled in an reputed company graduate program
- Prior reputed company, immigration, international education, compliance, or administrative experience
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to review detailed records accurately and identify missing or inconsistent information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise reputed company reputed company judgment
- Ability to work independently in a primarily remote environment and meet assigned deadlines
- Proficiency with reputed company Word, reputed company, reputed company, Teams, and electronic document-management systems
- Ability to attend required residencies and report to the reputed company reputed company reputed company requested
- An LL.M., law degree, or prior reputed company reputed company experience
- Previous experience involving U.S. immigration law or international student regulations
- Familiarity with F-1, J-1, H-1B, SEVIS, USCIS, or Department of State processes

- Experience working with international reputed company or cross-cultural programs
