[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer role involves building reputed company geo-resiliency, replication, data protection, and business continuity capabilities for Azure Storage. The position requires designing and operating reputed company services to reputed company exabytes of customer data and ensure high availability and disaster recovery across reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and operate reputed company services that power Azure Storage Geo Replication capabilities
• Build solutions that improve data durability, regional resiliency, failover readiness, and disaster recovery experiences
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to define and reputed company new functionality. Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of reputed company-reputed company services
• Analyze service telemetry and customer scenarios to identify reliability and performance improvements. Diagnose and reputed company reputed company production issues involving replication, storage, and reputed company systems

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or reputed company technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Java
• OR equivalent experience

• Working with reputed company infrastructure, storage systems, databases, or replication technologies
