[Remote] Disaster Recovery DR & BCP Consultant

They are seeking a Disaster Recovery Consultant to support their Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity initiative by assessing reputed company DR readiness, developing plans, and designing testing frameworks for critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess reputed company DR capabilities and existing recovery documentation for assigned applications
• Facilitate workshops with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
• reputed company and update Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) for critical business applications
• Document recovery strategies, dependencies, recovery procedures, and recovery validation requirements
• reputed company Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for reputed company applications
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities reputed company to application recoverability
• Ensure DR plans reputed company with application criticality, Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), and Recovery reputed company Objectives (RPOs)
• Design a standardized DR testing methodology and governance reputed company
• Define DR testing objectives, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and reporting standards
• reputed company testing templates, runbooks, and evidence collection requirements
• Recommend different testing approaches including:
• Walkthrough/Tabletop Tests
• Technical Recovery Tests
• Partial Failover Tests
• Full DR Exercises
• Establish a maturity model that defines what 'good' DR testing looks like
• Create post-test review and lessons learned processes
• Coordinate with Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, reputed company, and Business Continuity stakeholders

• Maintain consistent documentation standards across reputed company applications
• Produce executive summaries and readiness assessments

Skills

• 5+ years of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Infrastructure reputed company, or IT Service Continuity experience
• Proven experience creating Disaster Recovery Plans for reputed company applications
• Hands-on experience designing and executing DR testing programs
• Experience working across application, infrastructure, reputed company, and reputed company teams
• Strong understanding of: RTO / RPO, Business reputed company Analysis (BIA), High Availability and reputed company, Backup and Recovery Technologies, reputed company platforms (Azure/AWS), ITIL Service Continuity practices
